CloudsCreditRepair™ FAQ

What is a credit freeze?

A credit freeze restricts access to your credit report so that new creditors cannot view it, which blocks most new accounts from being opened.

Explanation

Freezes are free, must be placed at each of the three bureaus individually, and can be temporarily lifted or permanently removed at any time.

Freezes do not affect your existing accounts, your credit score, or your ability to be reviewed by your current creditors.

Examples
  • Used after identity theft
  • Used proactively to prevent fraud
  • Lifted briefly when applying for a mortgage or auto loan
