California Medical License Outlook

California Medical Board has a reputation for being one of the most difficult State Medical Board, in which to obtain a Medical license, this in the past may have been true, but now today we at PF Consulting Firm – CA Medical Licensing services have welcomed the CA Medical Board of some of their changes to the Medical licensure applications & to come in line with other States.

In the past & present the CA Medical Board required that each Physician to submit & send a set of Fingerprint cards to them directly, then painfully wait on the Board officer from two to four months, as then the officer have to wait on the FBI to report back to them, but all of this depends on several factors such as the backlog of both establishment’s.

Now we are happy the board have in place a “live Fingerprint scanner” where if possible PF Consulting Firm – CA Medical licensing services advises anyone seeking a CA Medical License to travel if possible, as then once your live fingerprint scan is submitted to the board, then it only takes several days for the FBI to report back to the board, and hence speeding up your License application in a timely fashion.

Another good reason why live Fingerprints scans are a good thing, not only it speeds up the medical licensing process but, as submitting your live fingerprints directly, but we feel live scans is the way to go forward with the technology we all have today.

California Medical Board has in the past been very strict in what they receive from us and other licensing Company, such as a copy or a scan of different Verifications, this www.PFConsultingFirm.com is pleased with the CA Medical board to except “certain” document Verifications via scan, copy or even direct e mail from the us/physician itself.

The California Medical Board does not have a 10 year rule concerning Board Examinations and Board Certification. This means that the SPEX requirement is not in effect. There is not a interview requirement as with other State Medical Boards. Once the file/applications is complete then the Board can offer the physician a temporary license Number which will be effective until the next Board Meeting.
